Global Language Review (GLR) follows an open access publishing model in which authors retain copyright of their published work.

• Authors retain copyright in their articles.
• Authors do not transfer copyright ownership to GLR or its publisher, Humanity Publications.
• By publishing with GLR, authors grant the journal the necessary non-exclusive rights to publish, distribute, reproduce, display, archive, preserve, and make the article publicly available.

Authors retain the right to:

Authors should ensure that any third-party material included in their article is used with the necessary permission and is appropriately identified.

GLR permits authors to make their published work available through:

• Institutional repositories.
• Subject repositories.
• Personal academic or professional websites.
• Research and academic sharing platforms, where permitted by the applicable platform and license terms.

GLR does not impose an embargo on the self-archiving of published articles.

Authors should preserve the article's original attribution, citation information, copyright statement, and Creative Commons license information when sharing the published version.

By submitting and publishing an article with GLR, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive right to:

• Publish the article for the first time.
• Distribute and make the article publicly available.
• Reproduce and display the article in electronic and other permitted formats.
• Host the article on the GLR website and associated publishing platforms.
• Archive and preserve the article through appropriate digital preservation and indexing services.
• Include the article in scholarly databases, repositories, indexing services, and preservation systems.
• Create and distribute metadata associated with the published article.

The rights granted to GLR do not transfer copyright ownership from the author to the journal or publisher.

Users may reuse GLR-published content according to the terms of the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license.

Permitted uses include:

• Sharing the original, unmodified article.
• Copying and redistributing the original article.
• Downloading and storing copies.
• Printing copies for non-commercial use.
• Linking to the published article.

All permitted uses must comply with the attribution requirements of the Creative Commons license.

Uses that are not permitted by the CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 license may require permission from the relevant copyright holder or may otherwise be governed by applicable copyright law.

• Where third-party material is not covered by the GLR Creative Commons license, the relevant copyright or licensing information should be clearly identified in the article.

GLR respects the copyright of authors, readers, and other rights holders.

• Suspected copyright infringement involving content published by GLR may be reported to the journal.
• GLR will review credible copyright concerns and may take appropriate action where an infringement is identified.
• Appropriate action may include contacting the relevant parties, requesting clarification, correcting the publication record, restricting unauthorized use where GLR has the relevant rights, or taking other appropriate measures under applicable law.
• Copyright disputes will be handled in accordance with applicable law and the relevant publishing agreements.

Authors retain copyright even when an article is corrected, subject to the journal's publishing rights and applicable policies.

GLR may publish:

• Corrections or corrigenda.
• Expressions of concern.
• Retraction notices.
• Other appropriate post-publication notices.

Such actions do not transfer copyright ownership to GLR or Humanity Publications. They are undertaken to maintain the accuracy, integrity, and reliability of the scholarly record and are handled according to the journal's Corrections and Retractions Policy and Publication Ethics Policy.
